Synopse

True love or deception? A furious psychodrama. Johanna (Carin Hanczewski) accepts the invitation to spend the weekend with widowed mother Henriette (Corinna Harfouch) who proudly presents her new boyfriend Philipp (Louis Nitsche), 25 years her junior. Henriette is demonstratively happy, while Johanna is blindsided and suspects the young man of being a gold-digger. Between Johanna’s suspicion and Henriette’s self-confidence is Philipp, who tries to calm everyone down – but the weekend becomes increasingly hard to handle. Mother and daughter know exactly which buttons to press to get on the other’s nerves. When Johanna begins seriously undermining the relationship, the question arises whether she really does want the best for Henriette.

After gaining professional experience in the theatre, DUSTIN LOOSE (*1986 in Bonn) studied at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. His graduation film In Erledigung einer Sache won the Student Oscar in 2015.
