Synopse

Independence Day, 1988, in Israel. Barbecuing in the park is a family tradition for Haim (Victor Ida) and his wife, Naima (Raymonde Abecasis). The party forms the backdrop for a look at the different people’s desires and the conflicts in this Iraqi-Jewish family. By switching the narrative perspective in "Rashomon" style, directors David Ofek and Joseph Madmony, who won the prize for the best screenplay at the Mar del Plata Festival, enable viewers to penetrate the story from all sides. A touching emotional drama about love, forgiveness and plans for the future.
