Synopse
9th century China: the 10-year old girl Nie Yinniang is given into the care of a nun, who spends the following years training her to be a deadly assassin specializing in murdering corrupt politicians, who threaten the influence of the ruling Tang dynasty. On one job, Yinniang is unexpectedly overcome with emotion and the assassination fails. Her client is furious and gives the hesitant trainee one last chance to prove herself.
