Synopse

In 1990, one-sixth of the Bhutanese population was exiled as a result of simply asking their monarch for democratic rights. Tell Me Who I Am follows the struggles faced by Sarita, a 13-year-old girl born in Khudunabari, a refugee camp in Nepal where more than 100,000 Bhutanese exiles live. Now they will be "resettled." Thousands of families will be forced to emigrate, and their Lhotshampa identity will disappear forever

Regie

SERGIO BASSO (*1975) began his career in the theatre and lived for years in China. His work often deals with the relationship between Asia and Europe, while another focus of his is on crossmedia projects.
