Synopse

600,000 followers and one stalker: in this Instagram drama from Poland, staged life collides with unvarnished reality. Sylwia lives #thesweatlife: as a fitness trainer full of confidence, she keeps her followers in line. Together with her dog Jackson, the Insta-queen has a roomy apartment in Warsaw and an everyday life consisting of posing and posting, adverts and work-outs, yoga and yogi tea. But when one of her fans wants more from her than the digital window allows and follows her home, Sylwia’s perfect life begins to unravel.

MAGNUS VON HORN (*1983) is a Swedish film-maker living and working in Poland. His debut feature The Here After (FILMFEST HAMBURG 2015) ran in the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs section at Cannes. This year Sweat also bears the Cannes Label.
