Synopse
After the death of her husband, silence and loneliness reign in the old lady's flat. The 84-year old's daily routine is always the same: cleaning, praying, knitting, watching soaps. In the afternoon she takes a nap and enters another world: she dreams of a big house by the sea. Thus the old lady spends her days plying between reality and dreamworld - until one day a stray dog turns up at her door. Silence in Dreamland is a quiet, poetic film that celebrates the beauty and magic of the cinema.
