Synopse

Johannes (Mikkel Boe Følsgaard) lives with his middle-aged widower father Ulrik (Jens Albinus) in a small port in the North of Denmark. Both work in the fish industry, their lives are uncomplicated and governed by their daily routine. But Ulrik is lonely and arranges for Rosita, an attractive young Philippina, to come to Denmark – in the same way as many men in the town before him. Johannes sees his father's romantic efforts critically and unwillingly allows himself to be used as interpreter. He also feels increasingly drawn to Rosita and vice versa. Johannes becomes a rival to his father and has to make a decision. An intense triangular drama develops.
