Synopse
DOCUMENTARY In 1982, Wim Wenders discussed the future of cinema with 16 fellow directors. 40 years later, the film restarts the project with a dialogue that is as intelligent as it is funny. »Is cinema a language that is being lost – an art in danger of dying out?« asked Wim Wenders in his film Room 666. At the Cannes Festival in 2022, director Playoust asked 30 colleagues including David Cronenberg, Olivier Assayas and Alice Rohrwacher the same question. Gathered together in a hotel room, they talk about the current situation for film makers and the challenge of new forms of expression and consumption.
