Synopse
DOCUMENTARY An empathetic, immersive observation of political activism and the Utopian potentials of a community. A group of activists fight to save a forest in Western France from the construction of a new airport. They manage to defy the clearance and police violence. The film accompanies the political struggle and documents the doubts and hopes of the people setting up a »Zone à défendre«: the long-term occupation of a place designed not only to serve as protection of habitats, but also another kind of human solidarity and cooperation.
