Synopse
A perfectly staged surreal mystery, "Reconstruction" covers 24 hours in the life of the photographer, Alex (Nikolaj Lie Kaas). Alex betrays his girlfriend (Maria Bonnevie) by seducing Aimee (also Bonnevie), who is married to an older novelist, August (Krister Henriksson). Returning home after a night of passion, Alex finds himself caught up in a nightmare when his family and friends claim not to know who he is. Is he a puppet in August’s hands? Or even merely a character in August’s new novel? Christoffer Boe’s urban thriller was awarded the Camera d’or for best debut film at this year’s Festival in Cannes.
