Synopse
Anne, a brilliant and dedicated advocacy lawyer specialising in societys most vulnerable, children and young adults, lives what appears to be the picture-perfect life with her doctor-husband, Peter, and their twin daughters. When her estranged teenage stepson, Gustav, moves in with them, Annes escalating desire leads her down a dangerous rabbit hole which, once exposed, unleashes a sequence of events destined to destroy her world

MAY EL-TOUKHY (*1977) studied film direction at Den Danske Filmskole in Copenhagen. Her debut feature Long Story Short was shown in 2015 at FILMFEST HAMBURG Queen of Hearts is her second feature film and has won among other things the Audience Prize at Sundance and the Dragon Award Best Nordic Film at the Göteborg International Film Festival.
