Synopse

A fragile commodity called trust. Jana (Petra Schmidt-Schaller) and her husband Christian (Florian Stetter) have a happy marriage. Together with their daughter Lotta (Tilda Wunderlich) they have a lovely house in Husum, where he works as a project developer and she as a doctor with her own practice. But everything changes when one morning Jana finds a long blonde hair on her husband’s scarf: she starts to doubt Christian’s fidelity. She secretly checks her husband's mobile phone and his e-Mails – and finds: nothing! Only when she searches his car, does she discover a secret that shakes her to the core… A gripping thriller based on the successful British TV series Dr. Foster.

ALEXANDER DIERBACH (*1979 in Málaga) studied at the Munich Film and TV School, then made numerous episodes for TV series, including Polizeiruf 110, Tatort, Helen Dorn. His TV film Wo ist die Liebe hin? was shown in 2021 at FILMFEST HAMBURG.
