Synopse

Nina runs a horse ranch on the coast. Her friend lives in the city and can't understand what she likes about living in the sticks. Nina's new intern, 16-year old Alex, is also not really into working in the middle of nowhere. All that interests her are horses - and this is her last chance of avoiding young offenders' prison. Nina teaches her to ride and slowly wins the girl's trust. When Kathy then turns up, Alex is suddenly worried that her job with Nina is in jeopardy. But the new girl has such a beautiful horse – and she's so easy to talk to. Soon, the two girls develop a special relationship.

Monika Treut (1954) has won numerous awards for her fiction and documentary films like Die Jungfrauenmaschine (1988) and Ghosted (2009). She lives and works in Hamburg.
