Synopse
»Chile, joy awaits us!« Pablo Larraín’s third film on the Pinochet regime is a witty David-vs-Goliath story. In 1988, Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet bows to international pressure and allows a referendum on his presidency. Chileans have the choice of saying Yes or No to another 8 years of Pinochet. The leading figures in the opposition persuade René Saveedra, a cheeky young adman to lead their campaign. Against all predictions, with just meagre means and under the suspicious gaze of Pinochet stalwarts, Saveedra and his teams design a cunning plan to win the election.
