Synopse

Yermén is transsexual and works as a fortune-teller. By night, she roams her run-down district in Santiago armed with a VHS camera and films stray dogs and neighbours, some of whom think she's a witch. Yermén's dream is a sex change operation. She tries her luck in a TV show with plastic surgery as a prize. There she meets a mysterious migrant woman, who has a very different goal: to look like Naomi Campbell. Like the protagonist, in its use of aesthetic means the film is "somewhere in between", combining documentary with a minimalist fictional plot that describes Yermén's transformation into the person she has always been.
