Synopse
Following a serious skiing accident, Tony (Emmanuelle Bercot) is in a rehab centre. Dependent on nursing staff and painkillers, she thinks back to her turbulent relationship with Georgio (Vincent Cassel). The rational lawyer and the rich socialite – did it ever really have a chance? Why did she love this man so passionately? How could she allow herself to submit so completely to such an asphyxiating, destructive affair? Tony reviews the years spent with Giorgio, the years that began so promisingly and ended so disastrously. She has a difficult healing process ahead of her, both physically and mentally. Mon Roi is an impressive drama based largely. For her performance, Emmanuelle Bercot won the Best Actress award at Cannes.
