Synopse
A carousal of correspondence and palimpsests, told in five chapters, each dedicated to one character, like Tarot cards: this Brazilian film is a humorous, colourful journey from Rio de Janeiro to Lisbon. When an accident sets off an absurd chain of events, Rómulo’s quiet life in Rio de Janeiro changes overnight. Far away in another country, Orlando, his twin brother and dealer in rare books, tries to buy a work from a Brazilian student who needs money. The lives of the twins are set to collide when a mysterious manuscript turns up.
