Synopse

On a humanitarian mission in Northern Brazil, the young Carmelite nun, Sarah (Élodie Bouchez), is rushed to hospital in extreme pain. Father Joachim Ferrer (Gérard Depardieu), doctor and priest, cannot, however, find anything wrong with her. Fascinated by Sarah’s religious serenity, he tails her back to France, where he discovers that she has a twin sister in prison for a gruesome murder. As the killings go on, Ferrer uncovers a murderous pact of silence between the twin sisters. A tense psychological thriller full of unexpected twists and turns.
