Synopse
The new film from multimedia artist Miranda July is a comedy about a family of tricksters, as original as it is moving. Petty criminals Theresa and Robert have spent the last 26 years bringing up their daughter Old Dolio to take every opportunity offered to trick and steal. But everyday life in the family comes unhinged when the parents bring in Melanie, a woman they don’t know, for a planned job. This temperamental but lovable creature turns Old Dolio’s view of the world and her family on its head. While Old Dolio longs for the warmth of a traditional family, Melanie enjoys the excitement of life as a trickster.
