Synopse
Kathrin (Anneke Kim Sarnau), a young hospital surgeon, and her boyfriend, Daniel (Roman Knizka), find their plans for a life together in America disrupted by the results of an Aids test: Kathrin is diagnosed as being HIV-positive, while Daniel is negative. Did she get infected in the clinic that has just fired her? The hospital stonewalls; she and Daniel separate. But she fights on, assisted by a lawyer (Jan Josef Liefers). Through her new job at an Aids hospice, she learns that it’s possible to change life’s dreams.
