DOCUMENTARY In the darkness of the night, the transsexual actor Julia Katharine reflects on her search for love and identity. A sleepless night. The Japanese-Brazilian actor Julia Katharine uses the hours awake to talk to director Gustavo Vinagre about her life: her childhood, her family, her fears and desires. In the intimacy of the dark, personal experiences blend with moments of cinema history and allow an unusual, personal insight into a traumatic life.
