Synopse

Lucas (Denis Podalydès), Isabelle (Natacha Régnier) and Simon (Clovis Cornillac) grew up in the same village. Isabelle and Simon used to be a couple. Then she left for Paris, where Lucas now also tries to make a living, while Simon has taken over his parents’ farm. Isabelle returns to take a breather from her unhappy marriage; so, too, does Lucas, to conduct a study on singles in the country. As he gets increasingly tied up in his interviews, he mistakenly thinks that Isabelle still holds a torch for Simon. But really she’s in love with him... A melancholy romantic drama about "the other France", far removed from Paris.
