Synopse
Documentary: Every ten years, a traditional ancestral festival lasting several days is celebrated in a little village in the countrified outskirts of Hong Kong. Not only the villagers and a handful of tourists attend - the biggest group is members of the diaspora who flood back home from all over the world. This melancholy documentary takes the last festival in 2010 as an opportunity to trace the ramified migrational history of the Lau family, the former neighbour of the film's director. A film about old and new homes, roots and change, nostalgia and awakening.
