Synopse
Gossip columnist Fanny (Anke Engelke) is on the trail of a financial scandal which is kicking up a lot of dust. To take her out of the firing line, her editor sends her to a lonely North Sea island, or Hallig, to write a portrait of a local ornithologist. Hagen Kluth (Charly Hübner) is however anything but pleased to see her. He prefers to carry on working on saving the endangered gull-billed tern. A taciturn conservationist and an urbane chatterbox alone together in the mud flats of the North Sea – can this be a good idea?
