Synopse
Debt recovery in the poor South of Morocco: in a bleak desert landscape, two men collect debts. A tragicomic road movie with an unexpected twist. Mehdi and Hamid are old friends and work for a debt recovery company. In cheap suits and a battered old car, they drive through a God-forsaken region trying to get villagers to pay back loans they couldn’t afford in the first place. One day, they come across a man tied to the back of a motorbike and a much darker, cryptic journey begins.

FAOUZI BENSAÏDI (*1967 in Morocco) works as an actor and director. His debut feature A Thousand Months (2003) won two awards at Cannes. In 2007, FILMFEST HAMBURG showed his film WWW – What a Wonderful World.
