Synopse

A young woman wth a big heart and a huge voice: Bici sings with a band in Lüttich (Liège). The corpulent 18-year old from a run-down working-class district rocks the town's clubs. Love, on the other hand, is a different matter. For Vince, the group's guitarist, she's nothing more than a childhood friend - but Bici has been in love with him for almost all that time. When rake-thin Anita gets Vince in her sights, Bici decides to do everything in her power to get rid of her rival. But is it really about Anita? Or does Bici's problem lie much further back? Baby Balloon is a turbulent and at the same time moving social comedy with a great leading actor who sings all the songs herself.
