Synopse

Santiago Mitre’s seventh film is a gripping political thriller based on real events: the trial of members of the Argentinian military junta from 1976 to 1983. Argentina, 1985: Julio Strassera and his assistant Luis Moreno Ocampo are setting up a team of young lawyers to prepare for the first trial of the generals from the Argentinian military dictatorship. They have five months to present the court with incontrovertible proof of the crimes of nine accused leaders of the junta. The presiding judge is pushing for a »fair« verdict, something the dictatorship had denied its victims. Subsequently, several people involved in the investigation are murdered. The two lawyers are also in constant danger. A race against time and against the death threats begins.
