Synopse
Divorcee Inge Herold (Christine Schorn) is in her mid-30s and lives with her 15-year old son. She works as a psychologist and has a relationship with a married man. When she learns that she has breast cancer and should have an operation the following day, she is deeply disturbed and begins to take stock of her life. Partly improvised and using amateur actors, this low-budget film was shot on location and was seen as an experiment, one that was nevertheless watched by 4.3 million cinemagoers in the GDR. Six months later it was also released in West Germany.
