Synopse
Documentary A remote plateau in Provence. The home of Maguy, who has lived here for 40 years making cheese from the milk of her goats. But all that is now coming to an end: a successor is waiting in the wings, Anne-Sophie, a young farmer. In 12 months' time, she is due to take over farm and livestock and will until then be learning the ropes alongside Maguy, for whom a painful process of detachment begins. She watches the innovations of the younger woman sceptically and is as opinionated and controlling as a mother hen. Tradition and intuition collide with modern calculation. Maguy's doubts grow: should she not keep at least a few goats?
