Synopse

Fine irony and a touch of melancholy characterize this reciprocal portrait of two directors. A charming mockumentary which points up the similarities between films and relationships. Natalia and Oriol are in their late 30s and have a young daughter. When they are offered a documentary, they decide to make a film about couples in love. They conduct a series of interviews asking partners how they get along and what the typical problems are. The deeper they get into the film, the more they uncover the wounds in their own relationship. The arguments and doubts seem endless. But the film project also offers Natalia und Oriol a chance to reformulate their love, both for each other and for cinema.

Regie

NATALIA CABRAL (*1981 in the Dominican Republic) and ORIOL ESTRADA (*1983 in Spain) won many awards for the documentaries You and Me (2014) and Site of Site (2016). In 2018, they presented their first feature film Miriam Lies.
