Synopse
A moving family drama plays out against the backdrop of the French riviera. A debut film based on the autobiographical experiences of the director and her sister. The Roussier family lives in a fragile state of balance, marked by the uncertain diagnosis of the 13-year old severely disabled daughter Bertille. Her parents and sister Marion live in constant fear of losing her and do all they can to fulfil her every need. Cut off from the typical dreams of a teenager, Marion seeks refuge in a relationship with an older boy. But when Bertille receives a new diagnosis, the family’s future is redefined – and suddenly, unexpected opportunities are revealed.
