Synopse
A young Muslim woman caught between breaking taboos and loyalty to her family: a moving drama celebrated in Cannes as a new discovery in queer cinema. Non-professional actor Nadia Melliti won the Best Actor prize. 17-year old Fatima (Nadia Melliti) is the youngest of three daughters of a French-Algerian family. Although she has a steady boyfriend, Fatima feels increasingly attracted to women. When she goes to Paris to study, a completely new life begins. New friendships, the gay scene and a new, passionate relationship with a nurse, Ji-Na. Torn between her Moslem faith and her homosexuality, Fatima has to find her own way.
