Synopse
A historical drama about two musicians researching American folk music and discovering love. 1917: the talented singer Lionel (Paul Mescal) leaves the family farm to attend the Boston Music Conservatory, where he meets David (Josh O’Connor). Three years later, the two spend a winter wandering the forests and islands of Maine collecting folk songs to preserve them for future generations. Then their ways part. Lionel travels through Europe, creating a life full of success for himself with new amorous experiences. But he still thinks back to his time with David. A reminder of their work together then reveals why their connection was so strong.
