Synopse

With a fine feeling for nuances of tone, this directorial debut by actor Eva Victor tells of the search for orientation when one’s life gets out of control. A comforting film which lingers. The life of Agnes, a young professor of literature in New England, is turned on its head after a traumatic experience. While for those around her life returns to normal, Agnes has to fight the feeling of having got stuck somewhere. Over five chapters and several years, Sorry, Baby illustrates her way back to herself – with black humour and the unwavering support of her best friend.

Regie

EVA VICTOR was born in Paris and grew up in San Francisco: she became well-known for roles in various comedy and satire formats. Sorry, Baby is her debut as director and won the prize for best screenplay at the Sundance Film Festival.

Mit freundlicher Unterstützung von Astrid Böger & Claus von Rintelen
