Synopse
DOCUMENTARY Conversations between director Sepideh Farsi and Palastinian photo journalist Fatima Hassouna paint a profound portrait of the situation in Gaza. Contacts via video calls create a lasting, friendly dialogue between two women who talk about themselves, their relationship to politics and religion, and above all life in the Gaza strip during the post-7th October 2023 Israeli bombardment. A film about resilience in the face of catastrophe, which finds pictures and words for that which otherwise remains invisible – a work which is the same time a memorial to Hassouna, who was killed shortly before the premiere.
