Synopse
A film about long-term effects, guilt and attempts at atonement – with oneself too. After a terrible car accident with fatality and serious injury, Dennis (Jonas Nay) was given a suspended sentence. In the course of his medical-psychological therapy, he makes contact with the surviving victim Alfred (Joachim Król) who has no memory of the accident or his dead wife. A short visit to Alfred goes differently than planned andDenis is drawn ever deeper into the victim’s world.

RAINER KAUFMANN was born in Frankfurt am Main and studied at the HFF Munich. He has made numerous TV films and episodes of series like Tatort and Bella Block (1994-2018). Among his best-known films are Und wer nimmt the Hund? (2019) and Der Puppenspieler (2017).
