Synopse
DOCUMENTARY With stark, contemplative imagery, Hermes Paralluelo’s film deals with the spirituality of an indigenous Amazon community in Peru. Luis, from the community of the Asháninka, lives in a remote part of the Amazon primeval forest, far from the world of technology. He longs for news from his three sons, who all left for the city years ago. When his youngest son asks what keeps him alive, a magical journey for father and son begins. Luis tries to impart his knowledge about transcendence, spirituality and tradition to his offspring and give him the ability to see the invisible.
