Synopse

Jodie Foster in Paris: An exciting murder mystery in which, Foster, speaking fluent French, plays a psychologist who doesn’t believe a former patient killed herself. The American psychologist Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster) has lived for many years in Paris and made a name for herself. When one of her long-term patients dies under mysterious circumstances, she is deeply shocked. Was it really suicide, as the police think? Had she not listened enough to her patient and missed the warning signs? Together with her ex-husband (Daniel Auteuil) she begins investigating for herself and tries to find answers with the aid of hypnosis. But when there is a break-in at her practice, her own life begins to spiral out of control.
