This panel explores how to foster ethical and sustainable co-production practices across diverse territories. Yanis Gaye and Ivy Muiruri will address the challenges and opportunities of building fair creative partnerships by acknowledging the asymmetries in resources, infrastructures, and market access, often framed as “high” and “low” capacity contexts. Drawing from their own regional experiences, the speakers will highlight the specificities of their territories and share concrete strategies and necessary workarounds to ensure balanced collaboration and long-term reciprocity in international coproductions.
