We celebrate Québec cinema and its guests at Filmfest Hamburg on 6.10. with a Fête Québec in the Filmfest Bar. Musically, the night will start at 11 pm with a live performance by Deadbeat, a world-renowned DJ and sound artist from Montréal. For all Québec fans and those who will become one, there will be a carefully selected programme from Québec in the middle of this year’s anniversary programme of Filmfest Hamburg.
Films from Quebec have had a permanent place in the FILMFEST HAMBURG programme for years and stand for continuous creative work, an unbroken curiosity to discover cinema again and again and to exploit its potential. This year, five films from Québec are represented in four sections at the 30th FILMFEST HAMBURG, proving their versatility with this alone. Numerous guests from Québec will present their films in Hamburg. Québec and Hamburg are once again moving a little closer together!
