The dance culture of house music enjoyed its zenith in the 1990s. With breath-taking virtuosity, the dancers in New York's underground clubs performed their improvised dance routines. The film revisits the dance scene of the post-disco era with footage from the last 30 years and presents its main protagonists from Archie Burnett to Brian "Footwork" Green and Ejoe Wilson. The film is preceded by the Belgian short "Landscape Duet" by video artist Pierre Larauza, shot in hypnotic super-slow-motion.
