Veronica and Cecilie met on the Internet and are together pursuing a common goal. They drive to Veronica's parents' holiday home at the seaside with the intention of not coming back. Instead of a suicide note, however, the pair record the events of their last day on video. The Bambi Effect is this film. It turns out, however, that Veronica and Cecilie have very different ideas about how to spend their last days on Earth. Then two boys from the house next door show up and turn everything on its head.
