Nance, a young man from New York, is looking forward to his date with his new love Namik after a long day of odd jobs, art and studying. But Namik cancels. An emotional vortex begins spinning in Namik, visualized in the film in a multitude of forms including collage and comic. An ironic narrator describes Nance getting to know Namik up until this evening.Every detail takes on significance, every conversation, every kiss is a sign.A magically surreal first film from Terence Nance who was responsible for screenplay, direction and music and of course the title role.
