In the beginning of winter, 43-year old actress Tania comes to Jankwarden, a village at the far end of North-Western Germany. On her first day she goes to the seaside and meets 15-year old Thore, who is much different from the other boys in the village. They are true soul mates, but under the circumstances the situation soon turns into a scandal. Yet Tania stays – it seems a long denied part of her life comes to the surface. Finally she decides to "steal" Thore.
