Only when 83 year old Grandma Hilde is kidnapped from an old people's home by her grandson, it dawns on her happy-go-lucky son that he should really take care of her. What ensues is a ridiculous competition for the right to looking after Hilde. While her own particular needs are increasingly neglected in the process, the two men are very slowly experiencing a sort of appeasement. The director calls his film a comedy about humility.
