The exciting story of Belka and Strelka, two dogs that were sent to space by the Soviet Union in 1960. A circus dog and a stray dog go on out-of-this-would adventures to become the world‘s most famous canine cosmonauts! The story is told by Fluffy – Strelka‘s pup which was presented to President John F. Kennedy‘s daughter Caroline. It tells that neither Belka nor Strelka were taken for the experiments accidentally. They were joined by a rat called Venya. The team had long training and then finally went  into space orbit. Belka and Strelka‘s space odyssey is in 3D. Russian movie makers call it “our response to Disney”.
