A comedy with a star cast about the transformation of a long-married couple into a pair of young-at-heart lovers. After 40 years, the marriage of Georg (Christian Kohlund) and Christine Fischer (Suzanne von Borsody) has become fairly lame. On the day of his retirement, Georg discovers that his wife is probably having an affair. During a stay at a convalescent spa, he gets to know, of all people, his rival Alex (Walter Sittler). Alex‘ enthusiasm makes Georg see his own wife in a very different light. With a wealth of insights and new zest, Georg is able to approach his old new love in a very new manner and try and save his marriage.
