Tragicomedy with Dagmar Manzel as the ordinary hero from an East German village, a very special cow and a disputed inheritance that could ruin everything.
Since the children moved out, her husband left her and her father died, village life for Jutta (Dagmar Manzel) has become very lonely. She gives all her attention to her cow Gloria, the most beautiful in the state and now hopefully destined to become Miss Germany. But then Jutta's brother Thomas (Max Hopp) turns up, a busy pilot, who wants his share of the inheritance. The siblings soon quarrel and the whole business throws up existential questions about roots, honesty and loyalty.
