According to the Olympic motto, it's all about taking part. But before an athlete can be picked, there is the hurdle of the Olympic norm to overcome. Nine top sportsmen and women from Hamburg face the task of realizing their dream of Olympic participation, including swimmer Jacob Heidtmannt, long jumper Sebastian Bayer and rower Tim Ole Naske. The film accompanies the athletes over the course of a year to competitions and training sessions, witnessing uplifting successes and devastating setbacks.
