Diego's life is based on repetition. His job consists of counting the people who enter the government building where he works. After work, he lies around with his wife Bianca, watches soaps or has sex on the kitchen table. Everything about his life is a mechanical, entrenched routine. Satisfying his desires has become an empty obsession, carried out with increasing vehemence. The arrival of Karina, Diego's daughter from an earlier relationship, breaks up the tedium. Karina longs to be loved and guided by her father. Bianca refuses to accept the young woman – and Diego loses control. The film is a mixture of cold composition and drastic physicality and was made exclusively with amateur actors.
